Meet Your Doula

Headshot1

Hello! Let me take this time to introduce myself. My name is Donna Ore and I have a passion for helping families during  pregnancy, birth, newborns, and breastfeeding.

With a BA in Psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University , I originally went to school to become a drug and alcohol counselor and social worker. However, since the birth of my beautiful son, I have fallen in love with anything related to bellies, birth, and babies.

The yellow rose symbolizes joy, care, friendship, and new beginnings. I am here to be your friend and your guide; someone you can be open and honest with about your feelings without the fear of being judged. Together, we will ease your fears, discover something new, and help you settle into your new family. My goal is to be with a family from the beginning (pregnancy) to the end (postpartum) so that you will have a constant and familiar resource on this journey.

I am:

Certified Birth and Bereavement Doula (SBD) through StillBirthday

Certified Postpartum Doula (PD(BAI)) through Birth Arts International

Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) through Healthy Children’s Center for Breastfeeding.

Certified Aromatherapy for Pregnancy, Birth, and Postpartum through Birth Arts International

Certified Rebozo Use with Gena Kirby

Currently training to be a Certified Master Clinical Aromatherapist through Heart of Herbs School

Certified Heartsaver CPR/AED through the American Heart Association

I live in northern New Jersey with my amazing Husband (and high school sweetheart). Together, we have our pride and joy two little boys, our guardian angel Gabriella, and our two lovable dogs, Bailey and Roxy.
