Natural Remedies for Getting over A Cold/Congestion when Pregnant or Breastfeeding

Getting sick in general is no fun, but it’s even worse when you’re pregnant or breastfeeding! I am not a doctor nor a nutritionist, but have done my research. Be sure to do your own research and talk to your doctor before starting anything! Here are a few natural remedies to get over that cold quickly:Make Tea – Add organic lemon slices, organic raw honey, and organic Apple Cider Vinegar with the Mother. Lemon fights infections and is high in Vitamin C. Apple cider vinegar may improve immunity, soothe your throat, and help with sinus drainage. Raw Honey is anti-bacterial and anti-viral, as well as soothe your throat.

Apple Cider Vinegar with the Mother- If you can take a shot of this on its own or sip on it- that’s great! I personally can’t stomach it like that, so I like to add it to tea. When you have cold, your body tends to be overly acidic. Apple Cider Vinegar is alkalizing, therefore killing a cold.
